Six Minneapolis mayoral candidates now have filed with Hennepin County to form a campaign finance committee.
That list includes three who didn’t file until 2013 and are exempt from reporting any financial transactions in 2012.
Those three are Mark Andrew, former Hennepin County commissioner; Jackie Cherryhomes, former City Council president; and Cam Winton, an attorney running as an independent.
The race for mayor is nonpartisan.
Earlier, three current City Council members vying for mayor filed their reports:
• Betsy Hodges, who reported year-end cash on hand of $11,492 with no loans or debt.
• Don Samuels, who reported cash on hand of $469, the remainder of a $500 donation from his City Council election finance committee.
• Gary Schiff, who reported cash on hand of $27,107, with a loan of $7,328 from the candidate and debt of $9,300.
