Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon leaves today for a national conference of lieutenant governors in Oklahoma City.
The three-day conference at the Skirvin Hotel features panels and discussion on many national topics, including the farm bill, energy policy and tribal issues.
Prettner Solon introduces a Friday panel on the nation's energy supply. She said in a statement:
"As former chair of the Minnesota Senate Energy Committee, I understand how critically important developing sustainable energy resources are to our country. I am honored to introduce this panel because discussions like these provide an excellent opportunity for policymakers from across the country to share ideas."
Friday's closing dinner is atop the Devin Tower, a 50-story building billed as the tallest building in Oklahoma.
